All of these pictures were taken near or at our camp site on Haven Lake in the Olympic National Forest, east of Hoodsport, Washington. This was our first visit to this specific area in years, so it's new territory for us. The area shown below can be accessed from the Wynoochie area roads as well.

bit of haze and moisture in the air everywhere we went, despite the sun
being out. We will
take more pictures of this site on a clearer day.

J is next to
the large culverts that drain the lake. The culverts are
about six feet tall, for those times in the winter when you need some serious
drainage!

On our way home, we
spotted this beautiful cluster of berries. Since I don't know what
kind of berry they are, I sure didn't eat any!!!
