We had an excellent camping trip outside of Montesano, WA.
We were invited by the Shaver Family and had an excellent time!
Tom was able to secure a large camping spot on private private property
along the Wynoochee River, just outside the Olympic National Forest.
It was a very clean camp site with tiki lights set up and even a port-a-potty!
We had about 8 different tents set up at the peak of our trip,
with a central covered area set up for food preparation and such.
We had hoped to see the Perseid Meteor Shower, but the weather was
far too cloudy to see any stars.
It was also a bit too cool to get much time in the water,
yet an excellent time was had by all!

This trip was an easy drive for even Grandma and Grandpa's van, with just short driveway off the paved road. Peter and Sandy visited too!
