Here we are on I-5 in Dupont, WA. We
had planned to camp at the same site we camped at last time, but once we got
there, someone else was already camping there!!!!
|
We ended up driving everywhere we had been before, along with
a few new places!!! There were other campers in all of the other cool
camping spots, and there were people all over the Wynoochee area.
This is the Upper Wynoochee River, from the bridge near the
heliopad.
|
After even more driving around, and much of the day later, we
decided to try the Pederson Creek Lake, and we were glad we did. There
were too many people in the Wynoochee area, and this is a beautiful and
quiet area. |

We got our camp site set up! It was a very hot day
outside!!!
|
Do not eat the berries found behind the tent!!! |
BBQ Cheeseburger Time- Ymmm!!! |

|
This old log is bigger around than a person is tall!!! |
Can you find the cute woodpecker in this photo? It
has a girlfriend nearby- awwwww!!!!

I really like how the trees are reflected in the water,
yet you can see the log in the bottom of the lake. The flower at
the right is along the shore in the foreground.

There are a lot of salamanders in this photo!! You
can see them better by clicking on the photo to bring up the larger
picture!

Look Mom, here are my new camping shoes I got from
Amazon.com!
I wanted to try out my water shoes, but the water
looked a bit too stagnate to be very inviting- LOL!!!!
|
|
Wheee!!!! Dawn as a passenger at 45 miles per
hour!!!! Thankfully we got our car packed up
early because it started to rain a bit after that- LOL!!!
An excellent camping trip was had by all, and we had fun
tracing routes on our new GPS unit!!!! |
